2009 WSOP Main Event Update: It’s Getting Interesting

Day 5 of the 2009 WSOP Main Event wrapped early, with 185 remaining.

Warren Zackey will hold the overnight chip lead, stacked at 4,977,000. He’s followed by Kasper Cordes with 4,295,000.

Lots of big named pros are still alive. Among them are Tom Schneider (3,168,000), Fabrice Soulier, a frog (1,450,000), Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, a frog (1,400,000), Phil Ivey (1,380,000), Theo Tran (1,205,000), Blair Hinkle (1,100,000), Joe Sebok (990,000), Peter Eastgate (927,000), Prahlad Friedman (760,000), Dennis Phillips (735,000), Kenny Tran (700,000), David Benyamine (640,000), Antonio Esfandiari (430,000), Lou Diamond Phillips (390,000), and the spectacularly-breasted J.C. Tran (360,000).
