Sofia Georgiou did not play in the 2009 WSOP yesterday. She will likely not play today either. So unfortunately your only way to see more of her is by clicking the below links at the end of this post.

Kind of an off-day at the 2009 WSOP, which was actually a welcome break. Here’s the rundown:

:: Event #34 ($1,500 NLH): Eric Baldwin of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin beat a field of 2,095 to win his first bracelet and $521,932. Yes, the only reason we referenced where Baldwin was from is because of the word Beaver. If he was from Eugene, Oregon that detail would’ve been left out. Roland de Wolfe finished fifth. Get full results here.

:: Event #35 ($5,000 PLO): The remaining 11 come back today to play down to the final table and title. Sorel Mizzi is the overnight chip leader, stacked at 969,000. JohnnyBax “Cliff Josephy” is third overall with 805,000. Get full chip counts here.

:: Event #36 ($2,000 NLH): A starting group of 1,695 played down to 213. Corwin Cole takes the chip lead into Day 2, stacked at 185,700. Other notable big stacks include Jordan Rich, a ginger (128,900), Shaun Deeb (88,500), and Chino Rheem (74,600). Get full chip counts here.

:: Event #37 ($10,000 7CS Hi/Lo): The same 164 who entered all the other $10k events entered this one. Day 2 will begin with 110 remaining. Overnight chip leader is Tuan Le. Lots of play to go. Get full chip counts here.
