2009 WSOP Update: Event #7 – $1,500 No Limit Holdem

The one good thing about low dough events like today's $1,500 NLH tournament is they bring out cute girls like the one above.

Event No. 7 [$1,500 No Limit Holdem] at the 2009 WSOP is the original low dough event at the series, and today it packed the Rio with 2,791 runners gunning for a share of the $3,809,715 prize pool, with first earning $666,853. It’s just shy of midnight, and after losing 4.7 players per minute (per @BenjoDiMeo), it’s Gary Tang who has skyrocketed to the chip lead stacked at 145,000. Some notables piling up chips with around 450 players left include German hottie Sandra Naujoks, a woman (40k), Brandon Cantu (46k), Shaun Deeb (35k), Scott Freeman (27k) and the Hinkle Brothers ( Grant Hinkle with 46k and Blair Hinkle with 36k).

Click the thumbnails below for some of our favorites from today, and see if you can tell which one is not like the others (Hint: Gavin Smith).
