2010 WSOP Main Event Begins On ESPN Tonight

 Rachel Nordtømme

Rachel Nordtømme's presence on the rail during Day 1A was one for the ages.

Days 1A & 1B of the 2010 WSOP Main Event airs tonight (Tuesday) on ESPN, starting at 8pm EST/5pm PST.

Expect to see a lot of Mike “The Mouth” Matusow as he was at the featured table on Day 1A. 2003 WSOP Main Event champ Chris Moneymaker should also garner some attention as he ends the day among the leaders. Same goes with eventual November Niner and Poker Players Championship winner Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.

Past Last Woman StandingTM winners and Amazing Race contestants Maria Ho and  Tiffany Michelle should also get some face time after missing last year’s Main Event because of the aforementioned Amazing Race. Some of the celebs on Day 1A who you’ll likely see include  David Alan GrierRay Romano, NBA star Shawn Marion and Playboy Playmate Sara Underwood.

In the Girls on the Rail department, Day 1A got off to a stellar start with Rachel Nordtømme showing up on the rail to watch her boyfriend Petter Northug. If the ridiculous amounts of daily hits we’re still getting to this post from the land of people who sound like deaf aliens when they talk is any indication, ESPN would be wise to focus on her during the broadcast.

Day 1B didn’t have as many big names but it did have Poor Man’s Patrik Antonius, so it had that going for it.
