Day 2B of the 2010 WSOP Main Event concluded. Sunday is an off-day. The field finally merges on Monday for Day 3, and we’ll post the official total of how many remain when it’s released.

As noted earlier, David Assouline ended the day as big stack, with 387,800. Some big named big stacks also remaining include but are certainly not limited to Jon Van Fleet (295,600), Archie Karas (240,000), Aaron Kantor (222,000), Dan Bilzerian (210,000), Phil ‘OMGClayAiken’ Galfond (203,000), Jason Mercier (186,300), Amit Makhija (185,700), David Benyamine (173,000), Robert Varkonyi(!) (160,000), Bruce Buffer (160,000), and Allen Cunningham (156,000).

In hunt for the Last Woman Standing Cup^TM are Vanessa Selbst, a woman who likes women (265,000), J.J. Liu, a woman (240,000), Khamsy Nuanmanee, a woman (222,000), Karina Jett, a woman (175,000), Vanessa Rousso, a woman (140,000), Lisa Parsons, a woman (48,000), Barbara Enright, a woman (41,000), Erica Schoenberg, a woman (40,000), Kara Scott, a woman (40,000), and Jennifer Harman, a woman (35,000).
