The iPad is the must have table accessory for the 2010 WSOP
Didn’t think there’d be a day when bringing an actual computer to your table would be kosher, but Andy Bloch did it today, and since he’s usually right about everything, we guess it’s cool.
As for “what’s next,” Erick Lindgren showed us FloTV today. Pretty sweet. If you’re unfamiliar, check it out here.
In Event #2 $50k Player’s Championship news, with 79 remaining, Steve Zolotow is the new chip leader. Kirk Morrison and Doyle Brunson are among the top 5. Get full chip counts here.
UPDATE: A few pics below of Andy Bloch viewing an TUAW blog post about him using the iPad, on his iPad (view article here).

Shouldn’t the iPad be against WSOP rules as people could message eachother or look up stats that could give them an advantage over other players?

The rules for the iPad appear to be the same as for any smartphone — you can have it at the table, but can only use it when you are not in a hand. Everything that RedPanda mentioned could be done (and done more discreetly) on a smartphone.
