2010 WSOP Update: David Baker Goes for First Bracelet

:: Event #13 ($1,000 NLH) – David Baker has started of the 2010 WSOP strong, and is big stack going into the Event #13 final table with 2,553,000. He’s followed by Matt Vance with 1,731,000. Jared Hamby is seventh overall with 423,000. Get full chip counts here.

:: Event #16 ($1,500 NLH) – Carter Phillips, who won an EPT title at age 20, looks to capture his first WSOP bracelet, holding the chip lead in Event #16 with 16 remaining. Get full chip counts here.

:: Event #17 ($5,000 NLH) – An impressive field of 792 entrants created a first place prize of $818,959. A total of 225 made it to Day 2. Steve Goosen of Canada is the overnight chip leader with 229,000. Other notable big stacks include but are certainly not limited to Chino Rheem (185,800), Jeff Williams (172,400), Antonio Esfandiari (128,000), Tony G (98,500), and Joe Sebok (88,100).     FYI, there are two David Bakers who regularly play the U.S. tournament circuit. There is David “Bakes” Baker, who finished sixth in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, and then there is regular David Baker who is the chipleader in Event #13.

    David “Bakes” Baker is a young online pro who dates Maridu. (Bakes is *not* Allen Bari, as previously photographed.)

    How did you manage only one pic of Sorel Mizzi? I’m a huge fan and want to get my hands on more of the same. Please inform your photogs to pick up their game.
