2010 WSOP Update: Sammy Farha Wins Third Gold Bracelet

Looking like a busy day around the Rio as we gear up for the first TWiP. Here’s the latest 2010 WSOP news. (In unrelated news, Karate Kid killed it at the box office this past weekend…while we will still never, ever watch the reboot, we found the above Ralph Macchio vid fantastic…too bad no Billy Zabka cameo though…)

:: Event #25 ($10,000 Omaha Hi/Lo) – Sammy Farha outlasted a field of 212 to capture his third WSOP bracelet (all in Omaha events). For the win, Farha banks $488,241. Get full final table payouts here.

:: Event #26 ($2,500 NLH Six-Handed) – A strong starting field of 1,245 played down to 156. William Hayden is the overnight chip leader. Notables remaining include but are certainly not limited to Andrew Robl, Jeff Shulman, Jerry Yang (what’s gotten into this guy?
