2011 PCA Main Event Brings In Record Field


Chris Moneymaker makes a run at another remarkable Day 2 appearance.

Day 1′s are in the books at the 2011 PCA Main Event. A total of 1,560 entered, breaking last year’s record of 1,515.

As the fields merge for Day 2, Pieter de Korver holds the chip lead, stacked at 245,300. He’s followed by Walid Bou-Habib with 239,000.

Plenty of notables among the 645 remaining. Some big stacks include Chris Moneymaker (217,600), the man the myth the legend, Big Sldick, Black Phil Ivey Dwyte Pilgrim (194,200), Daniel Alaei (189,300), Bernard Lee (163,200), and Viktor Blom (141,900).
