2011 PCA: Molson Wins High Rollers; Chen Takes Bounty Shootout; Change100 Wins Women’s Event

The 2011 PCA wrapped two more of its marquee events yesterday.

Will Molson, he who has runner-upped this very same $25,000 High Rollers event two years running, finally got the monkey off his back and banked first place, earning $1,072,850. He defeated Leo Fernandez ($544,925) heads-up for the title.

Erik Seidel finished fourth ($295,950) and Jason Mercier eighth ($129,480).

In related news, Andrew Chen won the $5,000 Bounty Shootout, banking $213,000. Chen took out both Michael Binger (2nd) and Shaun Deeb (3rd) on the final hand.

In further related news, member of the so-called poker “media” and FOWCP Kristin “change100″ Bihr, a woman, took down the $1,000 Ladies Event, earning $29,798. She defeated Lauren Kling, a woman ($18,624), heads-up. Also cashing in the event were Vicky Coren, a woman (3rd – $13,968), and Ricki Lake, a woman (6th – $5,587).
