The 2012 EPT Barcelona Main Event is down to its final table.
The main storyline is if online high-stakes cash game specialist Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies can finish the drill and secure his first ever major live tournament victory.
Sahamies went nearly three years without a live cash while concentrating on cash games. But he’s resurfaced at the EPT Barcelona. He finished fourth in the Super High Roller event (for over $418k). Now, he leads the Main Event final table, stacked at 7,885,000. He’s followed by Samuel Rodriguez with 6,450,000.
In third is the awesomely named Anaras Alekberovas with 4,430,00. Short-stacked in seventh position is John Juanda with 1,890,000.
