Here’s a quick look at some events wrapping this weekend at the 2014 WSOP.

:: Event #40 ($10,000 NLH Heads-Up) – The heads-up event is heads-up, with Davide Suriano facing Sam Stein. Winner takes home $335,553. That’s all we got.

:: Event #41 ($1,500 Dealer’s Choice) – Apparently, if you want to bring more women into poker, hold more Dealer’s Choice events. The ITM of this event has the highest percentage of women we’ve seen since the Ladies Event. Sure, it was only 4 out of 42, but that’s math math math like 10%! In the money included Maria Ho, a woman (15th – $5,911) and Maria Mayrinck, a woman (11th – $7,568). At the final table include Melissa Burr, a woman (10th overall) and Jen Harman, a woman (9th overall). Robert Mizrachi leads. Get full chip counts here.

:: Event #42 ($5,000 PLO Six-Handed) – The field of 542 is down to 96. Davidi Katai leads. Brian Rast, Michael Mizrachi, and Scotty Nguyen are among the big stacks. Get full chip counts here.
