The WPT Grand Prix de Paris wrapped over the weekend, crowning its first ever U.S. American as champ.
Matt Waxman of Parkland, Florida outlasted a field of 312 to bank €518,750. He defeated Hugo Lemaire (€311,100) heads-up for the title.
This is Waxman’s biggest live score to date. He did have three cashes at the 2011 WSOP including a third place for over $100,000 in a $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo event.
