Anna Benson is a Bitch

Annagreger_1There’s no love lost between Wicked Chops Poker and publicity whore Anna Benson of

She didn’t earn the distinction of being #5 on our Top 10 People Who Hate Wicked Chops Poker for nothing.

Benson made it into Day 2 with the reputation as the most despicable player in the tournament, and she continued her bitch ways until she was finally sent packing to wherever bitches go when they’re sent packing. Her WSOP finally came to an end moments after we walked by her table while she was berating a player for not calling her all-in bet. On the next hand she went all-in again, saying she wanted to get the hell out of here, and this time she got a caller. Benson showed Q-6, missed the board, lost the hand and got the hell out of here.

We asked Swedish pro Greger Aktell, who was sitting next to her, what he thought of Benson.

“I’ve never played poker with a nastier person,” he said.

Apparently it was Aktell who put Benson on the tilt rag, so to speak, when his pocket Kings vs. her pocket Queens took 20k off her stack. He then bitch slapped her again when he caught the wheel on the river with his A-4 against her A-9, and from there, Benson went on a rampage, going all-in on every hand.

Because that’s what bitches do.

They say that in history, nice women are rarely remembered. Here is proof. Don’t give her the time of day….

I sat next to her for 15 hours during day 1A of the main event and she was perfectly fine. I don’t think anyone at our table has anything negative to say about her, other than we weren’t invited to her party at the Palms the next day.

Wow. This is really bizarre. She wasn’t that bad. Actually she was pretty pleasant during the day. I had no idea who she was so I had no preconceived opinion of her. Early in the day we were all having some fun with her. She was a good sport. That’s not to say she doesn’t have a colorful personality. A lot of the stuff she was talking about herself, she was going back and forth with a guy at the other end of the table. He was stirring things up with her off & on then writing down everything that came out of her mouth, like he was fishing for something. He kept badgering her to give him an invite to her party that weekend. The worst thing she did all day was ask the guy next to her to get her a candybar. He did, then she busted him out ten minutes later. I really ragged her about that. It appears to me that there may be a bit of over-the-top bashing of her. I’d rather sit at a table with her than with a lot of other people I ended up with in July.

Oh, to answer the question how she made it to day two.
With pocket 4’s. I think she busted two people out with that hand, twice. then sucked out on Laura Prepon later in the evening. She was hard to push off a hand.
