Bob Stupak (April 6, 1942 - September 25, 2009)

Vegas legend, one-time Lt. Governor candidate, and WSOP bracelet winner Bob Stupak has passed away at 67 years old.

Stupak is best known for transforming the Las Vegas Strip and skyline with the development of his casino, The Stratosphere.

He passed away after battling leukemia and other medical conditions.

Stupak won a WSOP bracelet in 1989 in 2-7 Lowball and was involved in the GSN High Stakes Poker series.

We maybe might’ve perhaps had some fun cracking jokes at Stupak’s expense over the years, but the guy was a Vegas and poker legend. RIP.

Bob was always fun to be around…. very entertaining and unique. He had no higher education but was brilliant. What a sad ending to a glorious life.
