Brandon Adams on 60 Minutes

Watch CBS News Videos OnlineSo we’re watching 60 Minutes last night, and after an excellent story on a former radical Islamic who is now trying to convert jihadists on their interpretation of “the narrative,” or specifically that the U.S. is trying to destroy Islam (view here), a feature called Boosting Brain Power comes on detailing how college kids are popping Adderall to help them study/take tests/etc.

Then, out of nowhere, bam, there’s high stakes poker player and Harvard economics instructor Brandon Adams. In an interview with Katie Couric, Adams, who started taking Adderall in college, discusses who the drug’s use is common in professors as well…and that he recently took it to help him finish write a book. He also cops to using Provigil.
