Carlos Mortensen Does Not Win 2011 WPT LAPC

Make this one quick now that the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship is out of the way: Carlos Mortensen did not win a record-breaking fourth World Poker Tour title at the LAPC.

Mortensen, who did end up snagging a last minute NBC Heads-Up invite when Gabe Kaplan bailed, placed third for $640,680.

The event was won by Gregory Brooks, who banked $1,654,120. Vivek Rajkumar finished second forĀ $908,730.
