We’re two weeks out from when news originally broke about PokerStars acquiring Full Tilt Poker. While no officially announcement has come from either PokerStars or Full Tilt regarding the progress of the deal...
Has it really been seven freaking years since we discovered Keeley Hazell? Really?
Wicked Chops Poker just celebrated its 7th anniversary this week.
In those seven years, while we’ve taken days off here and there, we’ve never actually taken a week off.
So, barring any major Full Tilt Poker breaking news, we’re doing just that next week.
In the meantime, enjoy the launch of iSeriesLIVE. We like Carlos Mortensen at 7/1. And if anything major does break, we’ll post it over on Wicked Chops Insider here.
Above: A Tribute to Da Pokerz’s White Noise, who just missed the cut this year.
It’s that time of year again–we’re rolling out our annual Wicked Chops Awards.
We can’t believe we’ve never given this award before–so to kick off this year–we’re starting with Best Poker Rapper.
And we’re going to let you vote on it.
We’re going with prolificness of nominees. One-time wonders won’t be included. Vote for your choices in the embedded poll below, and we’ll announce the winner at the end of the week.
Your nominees: Prahlad Friedman (samples), Brett Ritchie (samples), Jeff Madsen (samples), and SrslySirius (samples).
Wicked Chops Insider has already been more prolific in 2011 than Danica Thrall, who surprisingly gave us very few new pics to post.
We’re now a full month into the launch of Wicked Chops Insider. The following links are some highlights from last month. We’ve also posted a new Anonymous Poker Player X column today (Insiders read here).

New benefit for all Wicked Chops Insiders: each week, we are randomly drawing 5 subscribers for entry into DraftDay.com‘s $5 Frenzy. The $5 Frenzy is a fantasy football tournament with a weekly $4,250 guarantee–with first place banking a minimum of $700.
For those unfamiliar, here’s some info on DraftDay:
DraftDay is an exciting new way to play real-money fantasy sports. DraftDay offers real-money, one day fantasy sports games in SNG and MTT formats. Games range from free buy-ins to $500 and payouts happen nightly. Fantasy sports contests are exempted from the UIGEA and DraftDay’s games are 100% legal for US and Canadian players. Players can use Paypal and Credit Cards to deposit funds and cashouts are available via Paypal or Check.
We’ve been playing DraftDay games for a couple of weeks, and if you like fantasy sports and have a little bit of gamble in you, you’ll like this a lot. It’s fantasy football (and hockey and NBA) SNG and MTT style daily games. If you finish in the top three in a 1o-team field, you get paid. Simple.
