The 2009 WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic All-Star Spectacular got underway Monday with 292 entrants. Registration continues through level 8 today, so the field should push to over 300 when all is said and done and the math geeks who waited out Day 1 take their seats.

Darryl Fish ended Day 1 as chip leader, stacked at 236,625. He’s followed by Jon “Pearljammer” Turner, a ginger, with 227,325.

Some big names are among the other big stacks. One-time 2009 WSOP Main Event chip leader Billy Kopp is stacked at 201,325.
