The anti-online gambling, hooker-lovin’, steamrollin’, corruption-bustin’, ethics-preachin’, self-righteous governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer will resign from office today, making it official at a 11:30 am press conference.

Spitzer has been consulting with his lawyers the past two days trying to arrange a plea deal. The disgraced Democrat and super delegate has been a page one news story ever since Monday, when news broke that he was Client 9 of the Emperors Club VIP prostitution ring, which the feds busted up more than a week ago.

Allegedly, Spitzer, a married father of three, spent Valentine’s eve in Room 871 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington with an high-priced prostitute named Kristen, described as “an American, petite, very pretty brunette, 5 feet 5 inches, and 105 pounds.”

Word came out yesterday from various sources, including the NY Post, that Spitzer dropped $80,000 on hookers over the past 10 years, so while he was being the moralistic tough guy against PayPal, Citibank and other online payment services and credit companies doing business with online gambling sites, the former Attorney General was banging whores.
