Erik Cajelais Wins Event No. 2 at 2009 WSOPE

Erik Cajelais

The Intense Stare of Scott Clements has finally met its match with Erik Cajelais.

Taking a page out of the Intense Stare of Scott Clements‘ book “How To Win Tournaments By Scaring The Crap Out Of Your Opponents,” Erik Cajelais of America Jr. has won Event No. 2 (£2,500 Pot Limit Hold’em/Pot Limit Omaha) at the 2009 WSOP Europe.

The 27-year-old unfortunate wearer of Ed Hardy apparel, who looks more like someone you’d see on than a poker site, won his first WSOP bracelet by scaring the crap out of a final table loaded with multiple bracelet winners, including the always affable Men Nguyen, Hoyt Corkins, Chris Bjorin and Howard Lederer. Cajelais banks £104,677 for the win, or approximately $5.3M US dollars at the current exchange rate.
