What scares me is, if they had screened the contestants and that first guy was the best opener they could come up with... what was wrong with the rest of them?

I kind of have the theory that maybe the more interesting contestants lost their first matches, and thus ended up on the cutting room floor.

I agree that the host has to go, and I hope they do something about that. Nejad was totally under-utilized. The attempts they did make to build drama were done very poorly, it should have been more "Millionaire" or "Deal" -style.

Overall I think they have a lot of potential for grabbing casual viewers. Serious poker players will scoff as stuff like the outs being listed and whatnot, but I think that is what will draw more casual people in. Casual fan interest + repeal of UIGEA = Good for Poker.

Maybe someone should bang Megan doggy style on a table in the back ground. They wouldn't lose any viewers then, eh?

Thanks Kev. The money presentation obviously didn't stick then and they picked a lousy guy for the first contestant. Needs better screening.

Wasn't the money shown behind a case, with Megan standing next to it?

Also, the winners on FTP.net were sent to Vegas for an "audition" to appear on the show.
