Overshadowed by the EPT Deauville and Aussie Millions (and LA Poker Classic, for that matter), the World Poker Tour is also having an event this week: the Southern Poker Championship.
Fittingly, Hoyt Corkins will take the chip lead to the final table. Corkins is stacked at 2,069,000. He’s followed by Tyler Smith with 1,169,000. For lack of a good recent good pic and also for lack of time trolling for a hot Southern model, above is Corkins showcasing his beer pong skills.

In related tournament news, the 2010 Aussie Millions finished their merged field Day 2. Among the chip leaders are Sorel Mizzi, Dan Shak, and Gus Hansen. In all, 83 of the starting 763 remain, and they pay out starting in 72nd place. Get full chip counts here.
