Indictments Coming Soon to Full Tilt?

Typical girl, ruining the fun for everyone...

The Financial Times today published a story that founders of Full Tilt Poker may be facing grand jury indictments soon. Specifically, the grand jury is examining whether Tilt has broken any gambling and money-laundering laws. In our unscientific personal investigation, we have learned that they have not.

Anyway, copy+paste:

The probe is aimed at Full Tilt Poker and individuals including Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer, champion gamblers who are among those accused of controlling the company in a Los Angeles civil lawsuit filed last year…FBI agents or prosecutors have spoken to at least two people involved in disputes with Full Tilt, paying special attention to the possibility of money-laundering violations, those familiar with the inquiry say. Money-laundering charges might be attractive to the government as they would compel co-operation from authorities even in countries where gambling is legal.

In other words, way to go Clonie and JDN!

I’d lean more towards Lary Kennedy and her lawyer.

I wish Blistex made ass balm. All of us IBS sufferers would really appreciate that. If the Tilt guys go to jail, I’d send them Blistex ass balm.

I take it someone lost their last 5 bucks on a 0.02/0.05 table and is crying to the feds which in turn will happen on the other US legal sites . If you don;t know how to play Don’t.

I like the way the line runs up the back of her stocking. No no no don’t take them off.

yeah, gotta think JDN, assuming he’s still hoping to collect past and future distributions, would only stand to lose by running to the Feds. He wouldn’t want this to happen.

Dan…we all like JDN…and don’t think JDN is running to the Feds. However, when you sue FTP more or less saying that you’re an owner…good chance Feds will end up coming to you.
