The list:
- Doyle Brunson (no shocker)
- Phil Hellmuth (no shocker)
- Stu Ungar (mild shocker)
- Chris Moneymaker (shocker)
Listen, this isn’t like the Poker Hall of Fame or something that has defined criteria, so ultimately who cares. But it’s surprising to see Ungar on there over Chip Reese, or Moneymaker instead of [insert plenty of names].
Who would you have put on the list?

Doyle, Chip, Hellmuth, Scotty

Just get rid of Moneymaker and I’d be happy. I understand why he’s there, but he’s incorrectly credited with causing the poker boom. It was already underway when he won it: it was caused by the hole-card cam. Online poker helped to a lesser extent.

I lol’d at the show putting asterisks in place of the first 4 letters of someone’s Pokerstars name in the leaderboard.
The host was able to totally ignore the name since that name came in 5th place, but I’m dying to see what happens when someone with a screwed up name comes in 1st.

Ungar shouldn;t be a shocker . He won 3 world series of poker titles and won a bunch of 10000 buy in tournaments like they were 300 dollar buy in tournaments back in the days . He and Doyle are automatic. There will never be a 3 time WSOP champ EVER again .
