In what will be our last, “Hey, this guy busted out…” post of the evening unless it’sPhil Ivey or a Darvin Moon flame-out, the first elimination of the 2009 WSOP Main Event final table finally happened as James Akenhead has hit the rail.

Akenhead got in with 3’s vs Kevin Schaffel’s 9’s.

Schaffel, who was riding the short-stack for a little while there, is no up to over 19M. The new short-stack? Joe Cada with around 5.8M. Phil Ivey has 11M.

11PM PST UPDATES: Still seven remaining. Ivey is the short-stack with 8.2M. Eric Buchman is chip leader with 45M. Darvin Moon slipped to 37M.
