Jamie Gold Is Dominating Our Headlines

Play is underway, with Jamie Gold bringing the big stack back for a third straight day.

And Gold didn’t waste any time adding to his chip mountain. Richard Wyrick was all-in pre-flop with A-7 early on and was called by Gold’s A-K. Gold hit a King on the flop, and Wyrick is discarded in 27th place (taking home $494,797). The A-K KO brings another half-mil-plus to Gold’s stack.

Blinds are at $25,000-$50,000 with a $5,000 ante. They will play down to the final nine tonight.

UPDATE: The Gold rush continues. He’s now up to almost 18M. Almost 10M more than the nearest competitor (Erik Friberg at 8.2M). Allen Cunningham is still alive, stacked at 2.3M. Only 22 remain.
