A quick update from around the circuit…

Jean-Robert Bellande finds himself in a very unfamiliar spot: atop the leaderboard deep in a tournament.

Bad luck follows JRB around the felt like bad breath follows Barry Greenstein. But that’s finally not the case at the 2013 WPT Five Diamond for Bellande. Heading into Day 5, JRB is the big stack with 1,637,000.

Other notables still alive for the $1,161,135 first place prize include Christian Harder (980,000), Joe Serock (949,000), Dan O’Brien (643,000), Curt Kohlberg Anonymously Good All-Stars namesake Curt Kohlberg (472,000), and Will Failla (354,000).

Over in Gary, Indiana, the HPT Majestic Star Casino event wrapped, and poker’s smoothest motherfucker, Imari Love, finished just short of the title. Love came in third for $61,640, then came in about dozen models later that evening. (Kidding kidding Love is happily married…to 12 models, probably)

The event was won by Ed Ochana, who banked $152,477.

Finally, here’s where you can watch Poker Night in America‘s last three events on TV.

UPDATE: JRB did not make the final table, bowing out in 10th for just over $54k. Dan Smith leads the TV final table. Joe Serock is 4th overall.
