Ken Aldridge Leads WPT Legends of Poker

Unlike Hurricane Irene, the spectacularly-breasted is worth the hype. But like Hurricane Irene, Tran lost steam on Day 2.

The World Poker Tour‘s Season X kick-off event–the Legends of Poker at the Bike–wrapped Day 2 with 100 players.

Making a run at Anonymously Good All-Star status is current chip leader Ken Aldridge. As you may not remember, Aldridge, a 59 year-old retired school teacher, won a WSOP bracelet in 2009 (banking over $428,000). He also scored five cashes at this year’s WSOP. Going into Day 3, Aldridge is stacked at 659,500.

Cody Slaubaugh closely follows Aldridge with 658,000. Day 1A chip leader Matt Berkey remained steady, ending play with 502,000. However, losing steam like Hurricane Irene was Day 1B chip leader, the spectacularly-breasted J.C. Tran (above), with 176,500.

Also still alive is a name you don’t see around leaderboards any more, 2006 Main Event champ Jamie Gold, with 125,000.

And Mimi Luu has 72,000.
