Marvin Rettenmaier Goes for Second WPT Title of 2012


Marvin Rettenmaier looks to grind out his second WPT title of 2012.

2012 has been a coming out year for Marvin Rettenmaier.

The talented German player has already captured two titles this year, including the WPT Championship (earning him $1,196,858). He followed up his WPT Championship with six WSOP cashes.

Now, he’s in contention to capture the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic.

Rettenmaier enters TV final table play stacked third overall with 2,002,000. He only slightly trails big stack Ran Azor, who has 2,405,000.

Erik Cajelais, who was near the chip lead most of the tournament, busted in 7th for $43,690.
