After a one-year hiatus, the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Challenge is back.
The event has always been among the most watched poker broadcasts, but was largely paid for in the past with advertising dollars from PokerStars and Full Tilt.
With those two entities out of the U.S., the WSOP.com and Caesars has stepped up to foot the bill. The event will take place on January 24-26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The draw party will return as well on the 23rd of January.
No field selections have been named yet.
The NBC Heads-Up had always been one of our favorite pre-Black Friday events. The draw party is one of the few “whole industry comes together and drinks” events each year as well. Glad to see it back.
