Phil Ivey Does Not Win 9th Bracelet Again

Remember when Phil Ivey was a baller?

Phil Ivey needs to get his shit together.

Ivey, the universally recognized best player in the word, apparently sucks now. He now leads the 2012 WSOP Player of the Year Standings again. He’s only cashed a ho-hum six times this WSOP. And he’s only made five final tables. Simply put, Ivey has lost his fastball.

Ivey’s latest embarrassment came in Event #35 ($2,500 Mixed Hold’em). In a field of 393, Ivey only finished eighth, banking $21,699.

The event was won by Chris Tryba, who earns $210,107.
