If you’re looking to read any more tea leaves to figure out “is this Tilt-Tapie acquisition really official?,” then another good sign is Phil Ivey has lifted his self-imposed embargo on playing tournaments.

The world’s best player entered PokerStars APPT Macau Main Event on Day 1A–surviving the flight with 51,200 in chips. He trails spicy chicken entree overall chip leader Shih Chieh Su with 171,800.

Other notable big stacks include Nacho Barbero (140,000), Johnny Chan (86,000), Terrence Chan (80,400), and Ozzy Sheikh (72,900).

The event drew a record field of 575, with around 315 surviving Day 1′s.
