Poker Is Fun Again for New WPT Millionaire Prahlad Friedman

Prahlad Friedman is definitely reacquainting himself with the poker public.

Friedman is best known for his 2006 WSOP Main Event run, where he got into it with Jeffrey Lisandro (this was before Jeffrey Lisandro was Jeffrey Lisandro) and dropped the immortal ‘Poker Is Fun‘ on us.

Then, he kind of went AWOL for awhile.

Then, he made another deep run at this year’s WSOP ME, with ESPN already was giving him face time on Tuesday night’s Day 1D coverage. Fortunately, he didn’t bust any rhymes, leaving Jeff Madsen to go all Vanilla Ice on us.

Now, Friedman can claim his first WPT title, winning the Legends of Poker and banking just over one million dollars.

Somewhere in Las Vegas, Russ Hamilton is already scheming a way to rob Prahlad blind of this money and send him into a two year seclusion again.

Friedman defeated November NineTM hostage Kevin Schaffel ($471,670) heads-up for the title. Toto Leonidas finished fourth ($144,600).

Madsen was disgraceful. He should have learned from Prahlad that rapping on ESPN is not a good idea.

I will always think of Madesen as a total tool after seeing that. I doubt I am the only one.
