We like seeing more of Prahlad Friedman (above right foreground from 2009 WSOP Main Event) on the tournament circuit, and we definitely like seeing more of his cute A wife as well.

With 74 remaining, November NineTM hostage Steven Begleiter continues to steamroll the WPT Legends of Poker, ending Day 2 as the chip leader, stacked at 426,100.

He’s followed by a near-miss November Niner, Prahlad Friedman, with 382,700. Good to see Friedman showing his face more on the circuit, or at least showing the part of his face not covered by his hoodie.

Other notable big stacks include Bryan Devonshire (230,200), James Mackey, a ginger (212,500), Billy Baxter (209,300), Toto Leonidas (195,300), November Niner Kevin Schaffel (152,000), and Daniel Negreanu (92,000).

I really hope Steven Begleiter can find a way to win it all. He’s a great story and has been a lot of fun to watch. I had actually taken a little break from watching WSOP lately, but I tuned in again last night and I remembered how addictive it is to follow, especially since I haven’t played competitively the last couple of years.

Also I thought last night’s montage to the song “All In” by The Grouch & Eligh with Pigeon John was fantastic…such a good combination of song and footage. You can watch this on YouTube at : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KOh-H5nWeU

Are you serious? That guy is a piece of crap. He was one of the people responsible for driving Bear-Stearns into the ground and stole from their investors. He’s part of the reason for the economic downfall in this country.
