Vote Wicked Chops Poker, This Week in Poker for Bluff Reader’s Choice Awards

Calling all dudes who like photos of Victoria Moore...

Voting is open for Bluff Magazine‘s annual Reader’s Choice Awards (engage in the aforementioned voting here).

The Entities Who Comprise Wicked Chops Poker were nominated in two categories: Favorite Poker Blog and Favorite Web-Based Poker Show.

The competition in both of these categories is much like your johnson after looking at photos of Victoria Moore: stiff.

For poker blog, we’re up against Pokerati (of course), Tao of Poker (should be dubbed the “Dr. Pauly Best Poker Blog”category), and Hard-Boiled Poker. For poker show, it’s Poker Beat, that 2+2 one, Poker Edge, and Inside Deal.

Last year, we threatened removing all photos of Keeley Hazell (i.e. Victoria Moore v1.0), Vikki Blows, and Joanna Krupa if you didn’t vote for us. Basically, a vote for “the other guy” meant you more or less enjoyed the occasional penis.

No different this year. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years: the more things change, the more they stay the same. Or is it that history repeats itself? Or was it he who rejects change is the architect of decay?

Whatever. Eff you philosophical phrases referencing how some things never change!

But in all seriousness, honored to be nominated. Everyone really is deserving. Loved seeing Hard-Boiled getting a well-deserved nod and even we’re not sure how we’ll vote for the best poker show category [if we weren't nominated that is]. And oh yeah, if you don’t vote for us, then you’re basically no different than this guy.

Take part in democracy and vote for Wicked Chops Poker and This Week in Poker here.

WCP Named Top Poker Blog of 2009 in Bluff’s Reader’s Choice Awards

Apparently threats actually DO work. Nice.

The Entities who comprise Wicked Chops Poker want to thank you for voting us Top Poker Blog of 2009 in Bluff Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards.

Or maybe you just voted for Keeley Hazell. Either way, we all win, right?

While the threat of taking Keeley away clearly put us over the top, we do have to give a quick tip of the hat to the just as deserving Tao of Poker, Pokerati, and Poker News Daily, all of which we read every day.

To show our appreciation, below is a gallery of some of Keeley’s best work through the years. Relive when we first discovered Keeley here.

See the full list of winners here.

Vote Wicked Chops Poker for Bluff’s Reader’s Choice Award Or Else

Don't make us taketh Keeley away...

Don't make us taketh Keeley away...

Wicked Chops Poker is up again for Best Blog in Bluff Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award (view all of the nominees here).

Along with WCP, FOWCP sites Pokerati, Tao of Poker, and Poker News Daily (<–nice include there, Bluff…sometimes you guys are smarter than we give you credit for…) got a nod.

While all of our sites are deserving, let us make the following very clear: vote for us or we stop posting pics of hot girls like Keeley Hazell, Vikki Blows, and Joanna Krupa. We also stop with the Girls on the Rail (Hall of Fame voting coming later this week, btw). So basically a vote for the other sites is a vote for liking dick.

Ok, ok, ok, seriously though, we’d appreciate your vote here.

And while we’re plugging, mark a box for Joe Sebok for Best Twitterer (sorry, Seidel), The Poker Beat or The Poker Edge OR THE HARDCORE POKER SHOW (big oversight there) for Podcast, Mark Vos, a ginger, for Poker Villian, and Jeffrey Pollack for Poker Personality.

Again, vote here.

In unrelated news, below is a video of a hot asian chick getting ready for work on a subway.

Bluff Poker’s Power 20: WSOP Tops the List; WCP Bottoms It

Got our issue of Bluff Magazine in the mail today and in it is their new Poker's Power 20, a self-described "list of the most important entities and people who make the poker world go round."

The key word in that sentence must be "entities," as the Entities who comprise Wicked Chops Poker cracked the list at #20. Says Bluff:

"As gossip sources like TMZ and Perez Hilton have [become] more and more popular, the minds behind Wicked Chops have seamlessly brought this addictive format to the poker world. Frequently the first to scoop a story and always there to cover the major events in the poker world, WCP's dedication to poker gossip, and hot women, allow the "entities" to crack the Power 20 for the first time."

So while we bring up the rear (if we had a dime for every time…), the World Series of Poker (justifiably) clocks in at #1.

View the full list here or grab it off the news stands.
