Brad Garrett (right, above) was one of the celebs on the red carpet today.

The 2010 WSOP Ante Up for Africa poker tournament, hosted by Don Cheadle and Annie Duke, a woman, took place today, and as usual lots of big name celebs and big name poker pros showed up to support those in need in warn-torn parts of Africa.

Our photographer Newby took a shit-ton of pics during the day; you can expect to see a few posts between now and Monday (busy weekend here with 4th of July and poker site parties), including one post just of this ridiculously hot Italian model. As usual, lots of stars turned up for the Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament.

In our latest episode of The TOKE, we caught up with Don Cheadle, Annie Duke, Matt Damon, Brad Garrett, and even more and etc. They give their take on this year’s event, how Don Cheadle brided his way to a U.N. ambassadorship (kidding), and if Brad Garrett’s girlfriend will be making a repeat visit to the WSOP sans-bra.

In related news, Phil Gordon won the tournament. Or at least he was heads-up with Shannon Elizabeth at post-time, so we’ll just make that assumption.

While John Phan may be on a sick run this summer, Erick Lindgren has been on a filthy streak for 31 years.

Fucking Erick Lindgren.

And since it’s not human nature to actually be happy for someone else’s good fortune (what fun is that?), a bunch of pro poker players and celebs got together to sing about that fucking Erick Lindgren guy’s good run.

Maybe the vocals aren’t as "in tune" as "I’m Fucking Matt Damon" or "I’m Fucking Ben Affleck," but it’s not like Allen "The Chainsaw" Kessler is going to go to choir practice or anything. Dudes like him are too busy on Facebook for shit like that.

But we’re far better than that.

Seriously, we are. Don’t laugh.

So yeah, Don Cheadle, aka one of the coolest dudes alive, and Mekhi Phifer were among the celebs who played today in the Ante Up for Africa poker tournament and incidentally both showed up wearing the same not-so-limited limited edition Ed Hardy t-shirt (which apparently runs about $2k).

2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship: Don Cheadle Didn’t Like The ‘Ice Tray’ Question

Now we freaking love Don Cheadle. Seriously one of our favorite actors, which we’ve noted numerous times. And included in our favorite roles was his turn as Ice Tray on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (one of the best and only good episodes of the show). So we hope that he doesn’t think we were mocking him when Denise Pernula asked him about that role on the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship red carpet at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas last night. Cause we’d never front Cheadle.
