Isildur1 Is Back at the Nosebleeds (UPDATE)

isildur1 has made his long-awaited return to high-stakes action on Full Tilt.

In around a 30-hour session, isildur1 logged $732,753 in earnings.

And again, a good chunk of those winnings came from durrrr. In fact, the only pro that made a dent in isildur1′s bankroll during the session was Isaac Haxton, who posted a profit of around $90,000 in NLH heads-up action. From there, isildur1 decimated Justin Bonomo‘s bankroll for $567,515, and then took the aforementioned durrrr for around $232,000.

After getting in the positive against durrrr, isildur1 tried to switch games from PLO to NLH. This set off durrrr, who typed in the chat box:

ur too annoying to deal with / play for hours then the second u get up u want new game

Good stuff. Expect another flood of nosebleed action the next week until the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.

UPDATE: Interestingly, the guy many think is isildur1, Viktor Blom, is playing the EPT Copenhagen event on Wednesday. While we’re not exactly detectives, we have watched enough Batman movies to know that if isildur1 logs a few hours of high-stakes action while Viktor Blom is playing the EPT Copenhagen event, that would probably put some rumors to rest. Top Ten Winning and Losing Players in High Stakes Online Poker

Once again, F U Phil Ivey's wallet.

Interesting thread over at 2+2 on the top winning and losing players in high stakes online games.

The list isn’t totally accurate and is more of a recent history, but still gives a good take on who is crushing and being crushed.

No real shocker, but Phil Ivey topped the list with almost $13M in winnings. Phil ‘OMGClayAiken’ Galfond was second with over $7.6M. Patrik Antonius was third with over $7.2M but actually might be closer to first as he has about $5M from other screen names and websites not accounted for in this list. Also in the top 10 was Mark Vos, a ginger, with almost $3M.

Not in the top 50? Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan. He’s been running bad lately. So good timing on his Full Tilt deal by him.

The bottom 10 was dominated by Cirque founder Guy Laliberté, who had four of the top five losing accounts totaling around $20M. Gus Hansen was down around $5.5M.

Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan Full Tilt Poker Press Conference (VIDEO)

Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan officially became the newest member of Team Full Tilt today.

The above vid is from the press conference right before 2009 WSOP Main Event final table play began.

durrrr is rumored to have had offers from other major sites, but ultimately settled with Full Tilt, where he pretty much plays exclusively now anyway. So this is kinda like marrying the girl you’ve been dating for four years. And if that’s the case, then durrrr is about to go on a looooooong dry spell the likes of which he’s never seen. Next thing you know he’ll be spending weekends at Target instead of at the online poker table. It’s all downhill from here durrrr. All downhill from here.
