Evelyn Ng Goes For The Cute Librarian Look

Evy Ng is suddenly studious.

It’s kinda hard to miss a 6 foot tall Asian woman, especially when we’ve known her for five-ish years.

But we almost didn’t recognize Evelyn Ng at the 2011 WSOP Main Event as she rocked a new “cute librarian” look.

Fortunately her mesh see through top caught our attention. Then the specs. Then the fact that she’s a 6 foot tall Asian woman. So yeah, really, we weren’t going to miss her.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko Among WPT Championship Day 1 Leaders

Registration hasn’t closed yet, but a probably-less-than-hoped-for 161 have signed up so far for this year’s WPT Championship.

Of the 161 who entered, 138 have made it to Day 2. One-time WPT winner Shawn Buchanan is the chip leader, stacked at 388,600. Last year’s WPT Championship winner and looking less-like-a-chick-these-days, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, is among the big stacks at 277,375.

Other big named big stacks include some guy named Phil Ivey (230,250), Prahlad Friedman (204,000), and Beth Shak, a woman (189,725).

In somewhat related news, 27 currently remain at the EPT San Remo. Dmitry Stelmak is first overall with 2,270,000. He’s followed by Allan Bække with 2,200,000. Liv Boeree, a woman, is still alive with 825,000. Follow the action here.

Finally, in totally unrelated news, above is Evy Ng‘s latest vlog. She and her boyfriend Lex Veldhuis do not appear to be playing in the WPT Championship, unless they happen to register today. There. Now it’s semi-related.

Evy Ng and Lex Veldhuis Did Not Get Engaged

If you are to believe everything you read on Facebook and forgotten that it’s April Fool’s Day, then you probably would’ve fallen for the status update that stated Evelyn Ng and Lex Veldhuis had gotten engaged this morning.

Fortunately, the second we hit the publish button on this one, it donned on us that it was probably B.S., which it was, but that made us remember that April Fool’s is friggin’ retarded. “Hey I’m pregnant!/We’re engaged!/Wrecked my car!/Killed the dog!/Fucked your best friend!/Changed our name to Topeka!” Hardy har har.

While we love Evy, at least it’s good to know that Lex won’t be going from the uber-aggressive maniac that he is to some brow-beaten, castrated shell of himself that apologizes to his table for sucking out with AQ vs AK.

Watch Evelyn Ng Quits Smoking And Spends Time With Lex on RawVegas.tv

In her latest vlog, Evelyn Ng tells us she’s finally taken steps to quit smoking.

To this we said, “Evelyn Ng smoked?”

We’ve talked to Evy many times. Most smokers we know have smoker’s breath. Typically pretty rancid. Evy did not. Perhaps her shits smell like roses too.

She also says that her boyfriend, Lex “Evy’s Boyfriend” Velduis was on High Stakes Poker in what should be an “interesting” broadcast.
