Fantazzle SuperStakes Sundays Fantasy Football Game

If Victoria Moore played fantasy football, she'd probably play Fantazzle SuperStakes Sunday. Just sayin'...

If you watched This Week in Poker a couple of eps ago, you know we’re pretty big fantasy football junkies.

So starting this Sunday the 26th, our old friend at Fantazzle will be having kind of like the equivalent of the PokerStars Sunday Millions–but for fantasy–and not quite for millions (yet). Here are the details (get them here too):

  • $200 entry fee–starting week 3 (this week) there’s a guaranteed $5,000 prize pool. You can also satellite into the league for as little as $10.
  • While remaining under a cap of $1M, you pick 2QBs/3RBs/3WRs/2TEs who you think will score the most fantasy points.
  • You choose your line-up weekly–so you’re looking for match-ups.
  • There’s a 100% payout in the league (i.e. no juice).

There’s also a deposit bonus from 10% to 25%. Aaaand this weekend you can do redeposits and get the same bonus deal on the redeposits as you do on the first deposit.

Pretty sweet deal, especially the $5k guarantee. To learn more, go to Fantazzle here.

Win A Seat Into The WCOFF Main Event

Our password for this one shouldn't be too hard to figure out...

Our password for this one shouldn't be too hard to figure out...

If you’re into fantasy football, this is a no-brainer.

On Wednesday, September 9th we’re holding a $50 buy-in tournament on Full Tilt. For every $1,750 in the prize pool, a seat into the World Championship of Fantasy Football Main Event will be awarded (get full details here).

Your team will have you competing against fantasy football wonks across the country for a chance at a $300k first prize (more prize info at point 20 here).

The Main Event draft will be held in Las Vegas on Friday September 11th and Saturday September 12th. If you cannot make the Vegas trip on either of those dates, that’s OK, you can still view the draft online at your home while a surrogate (which we will provide) sits in your seat at the Main Event draft in Vegas. The surrogate will record the picks you make as the live draft is going on, allowing you to view every move online. You will make the picks using the WCOFF’s online draft software, and the surrogate will announce your picks at the live draft. It’s pretty simple and a great way to do this if you can’t make the Vegas trip.

Again, every $1750 in the prize pool, we’ll give away a Main Event entry. Every $300 raised on top of that, you can win an entry into the $300 Online League. The $300 Online League is modeled exactly like the Main Event, however just for less entry fee and thus less overall awards. For specific details on the $300 Online championship, go here.

So if you suck at math like we do and need us to dumb-it-down, let’s say 50 people enter the Tilt tournament. The winner will receive a $1750 entry into the Main Event, and second and third would receive a $300 entry into the Online League. And everyone who makes the final table will receive Skull Candy headphones or ear buds on us.

We’ll continually update/post more as the tournament approaches on Wednesday.

If you don’t have a Full Tilt account, click the below banner to register. Oh yeah, password for the tourney is: Joanna Krupa (with space).

And if you register for a league on your own, be sure to enter the RAW VEGAS or WICKED CHOPS promotion code.

Gavin, Daniel, Lindgren, and Nordberg’s $5k Fantasy Football League

In Part I of our latest webisode of The Toke, we followed the $5k buy-in Rounders Magazine FFL draft with Gavin Smith, Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, Brandon Cantu, and Peter "Nordberg" Feldman, or as Edog calls him, "Feldberg."

The auction draft was mostly just shit talking, with Gavin summing it up pretty well: "These guys have been spending money like a bunch of fucking retards."

Part II–the after-party in Gavin’s Palms Kingpin fantasy suite–coming soon. That one will be the Dark Knight to this video’s Batman Begins.
