Hi there. You're not so bad yourself...
One thing we’re hoping for on 2009 WSOP Main Event Day 1B is the return of the above girl.
She’s like an angel that appears to you in a dream. She doesn’t even look real. She probably sleeps on a fluffy white cloud or something. With her 12 adorable puppies. After teaching kindergarden. And making you breakfast in nothing but a cotton t. After anal.
Anyway, here is an incomplete list of some people that are here for Day 1B: Raymond Davis (a brother), Shaun Deeb, Carlos Mortensen, Bill Edler, Dustin “Neverwin” Woolf, Cristian Dragomir the Fragrance, Amarillo Slim, Doyle Brunson (featured table), Erik Seidel, Hoyt Corkins, Joe Sebok, Todd Brunson, Mike Matusow (featured table as well), David “The Dragon” Pham*, Mike Caro, Barry Greenstein, and Greg Raymer.
Full the action live here.
* Not a real dragon.

David Chiu is lurking and looking to claim another WSOP bracelet in the $5k NLH Six-Handed event.
Wow. We’re about 18 hours into the final day of the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. and there is no end in sight. It’s just like high school. David Bach and John Hanson are in the middle of an epic heads-up battle. Follow that live here.
UPDATE: David Bach won about 15 minutes after this post went up. DAWGS.
Below is the rundown of the other events.
:: Event #52 ($3,000 NLH): The uncomfortably-sounding-named Jorg Peisert from Germany is the champ here, banking $506,800. Jason Dewitt finished second for $313,227. Get full payouts here.
:: Event #53 ($1,500 7CS 8B): Blah.
:: Event #54 ($1,500 NLH): This one has 28 remaining. Sergey Konkin is the overnight chip leader, stacked at 1,400,000. Vivek Rajkumar still remains, albeit short-stacked, with 216,000. Get full chip counts here.
:: Event #55 ($2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Limit): Down to the final table, Abe Mosseri is the chip leader, stacked at 447,000. He’s followed by Blair Rodman with 358,000. Also alive are John Juanda, who would be so much cooler if his name was Juan Juanda (182,000) and Nam Le (95,000). A guy named Juan Juanda is gonna get the ladies. All of them. There is no doubt about it. Get full final table chip counts here.
:: Event #56 ($5,000 NLH Six-Handed): The final tourney before the Main Event brought out an impressive 928, creating a first place prize of just over $1M. In all, 160 remain. Rory Mathews is the Day 1 chip leader, stacked at 369,800. Other notable big named big stacks include but are certainly not limited to Sorel Mizzi (158,300), Justin Bonomo (138,600), and Phil Hellmuth (101,200).

Jack Links Beef Jerky is really yummy.
Can’t put our finger on it, but for some reason we’ve been really craving Jack Links Beef Jerky lately. Maybe it’s the prominent advertising around the Rio Amazon Room. Or maybe it’s just because it tastes so damn good. Whatever the reason, we’re going to have to snap off some Jack Links Beef Jerky today.
(FYI, now you know what this guy was looking at. Again here)

Okay, we're gonna go with Italian. Has to be Italian with a shirt and shiny pants (see below) like that.
Remember this girl from yesterday?
After we posted photos of her, one of our readers commented:
“You should never take a picture of anyone else…EVER. Please instruct all WCP photographers to aim their lenses at her.”
Well, we had our photographers on the lookout for her today (the word “stalk” and the phrase “kind of creepy” come to mind) and low and behold one of them found her. The photos aren’t the best and we have no idea what she’s doing with the Corum podium but let’s just say some things come to mind. It’s sad by the way that her boyfriend only has half a face. What a sweet girl to look beyond that.
UPDATE: And by Italian we meant Hungarian, as in
Miss Hungary 2008 Szilvia Freire. Thanks to floptib for the heads up.

As much as we give Euros a hard time on WCP, we'd love to give a hard time to hot European girls like the one above. If you know what we mean? Wink, wink.
One of the The only good things about a bunch of Euros coming to play the World Series of Poker is the hot European girls that tag along. Love them European girls. They’re blessed with natural good looks, a killer sense of style, exude sensuality and they’re passionate lovers in bed, and we’re not just using “passionate” as code for “into anal, threesomes and sex anywhere/anytime of day.” Okay, sure we are. And the feelings have always been mutual. European girls love themselves some Entities. Almost as much as black girls do.
Anyway, this hot foreign Girl on the Rail (also in this post) is our new favorite, if only because she’s within distance of our photographer’s zoom lens right now and she’s grabbing at some dude’s pants.

In the spirit of the above photos (be sure to click “next” above for all 3 photos; really, it could have been any of us), here’s a quick list of some of the notable players who have busted from Event #56 ($5,000 Six-Handed NLH) today and who are all but certain to walk away from the 2009 WSOP bracelet-less, unless they somehow manage to win the Main Event, which is about as likely as Joe Jackson being named Father of the Year. Or go to heaven when he dies.
Scotty Nguyen, Daniel Negreanu, Dario Minieri, Jeff Madsen, Brock Parker, Dutch Boyd, Jamie Gold, Adam Junglen, Noah Boeken, David Singer, David “Chino” Rheem, Terrence Chan
A total of 928 players entered Event #56. Less than 275 remain. First place to take home over a mil. Current updates here.
More photos of the hot foreign girl from who knows where above to come . . .
