Jeff Madsen Talks 9/11

Let’s get this out of the way first: Jeff Madsen is one of the more popular players on the circuit. He’s got a lot of friends. So it’s not like he’s a total douche. People like the guy.

However, as faithful readers of this site know, we have a thing against people who believe in a 9/11 conspiracy.

Madsen was the in-studio guest for tomorrow night’s episode of Poker2Nite. Backstage, we asked him a few questions on 9/11. Probably knowing we’d be slaying him for whatever he said that didn’t involve the words, “al-qaeda did it…” he was cool enough to answer our questions.

Having said that…

Gavin Smith Wins LAPC Main Event Last Longer Prop Bet

Being short-stacked probably never felt so good for Gavin Smith.

463 of the starting 745 made it to Day 2 of the 2010 WPT LAPC Main Event. Gavin Smith ranks 462nd in chips.

However, he out-lasted Joe Sebok and 9/11 conspiracist/rapper Jeff Madsen in their last longer prop bet. So sometime in the next couple of weeks, Joe Sebok with get both Gavin and Madsen’s faces inked on his body, and Madsen will get Smith’s mug somewhere on his skin. More to come on this later.

The 745 entrants is among the largest WPT fields in recent memory (BJ…?) creating a first place prize of $1,788,001. Masaaki Kagawa sounds like a really cool and sleek Japanese motorcycle is the Day 1 chip leader with 124,575. He’s followed by Mark Seif with 122,025.

Get full chip counts here. Watch the above and below the fold vids for everyone’s take on the tat prop bet. And let us know what you think of new tourney web host Jacque.

The Jeff Madsen 2/5/10 Borgata Winter Poker Open Conspiracy

2-5-10: Never Forget

(Editor’s Note: this post was submitted by the newly formed 2/5/10 Truthers)

According to the Borgata Winter Poker Open website (view here), Jeff Madsen won their Main Event yesterday, February 5th, 2010.

Or did he?

Consider the evidence:

:: There is no actual video tape footage of Madsen soaring to victory…only this after-the-fact interview that plays at just a frame a per second and could’ve been easily staged.

:: Why were there no Jews at the final table? Did the Borgata give them advance warning of a Madsen conspiracy?

:: If he really did win the event, then how come PokerPages hasn’t updated their database with the information (yet)?

:: He won the event on February 5th, 2010. Did you know if you fold a five dollar bill in half, then diagonally, then in half again, it spells: “Madsen Borgata”? For real. Try it.

:: Madsen’s performance on 2/5/10 was described by “some” as a “controlled demolition” of the final table. Sound familiar?

Plus, we’re hearing rumors that Sirous Jamshidi will be releasing an audio tape sometime this weekend claiming responsibility for the victory. How though, can we be 100% sure that it’s really Jamshidi on the audiotape? Or that the Borgata, or the U.S. American Government itself, didn’t splice audio from other known Jamshidi tapes together to make this confession? How can we be sure?

Here’s the truth: at the end of the day, we may simply never know who really won the Borgata Winter Poker Open. Was it Madsen, Jamshidi…the Government???

With that in mind, we demand an investigation. We demand the truth. And we demand it now.

Signed,

The 2/5/10 Truthers

Joe Sebok, Gavin Smith New Tattoo Prop Bet

Watch Prop Bets – LAPC Pt. II on RawVegas.tv

Looks like poker players Joe Sebok and Gavin Smith, as well as and 9/11 conspiracist/rapper Jeff Madsen are back at making crazy prop bets. This time though, it’s revisiting an old theme.

Seebs, Gavin, and Madsen are making a LAPC Main Event last-longer prop bet where the losers have to get the other two people’s faces inked on their body.

From Sebok’s blog:

Sooooo, Gavin, myself, and Jeff Madsen have all entered into a blood pact…quite literally…in the form of another last longer bet, and another tattoo consequence. This time a little scarier. Whoever is the fist person to bust at this year’s LAPC in Los Angeles will be forced to immediately get the other two fellow’s ugly mugs tattooed on his body…their damn faces (!)…right then…by an in house tattoo artist! The next to bust will only have to get the ultimate winner’s face tattooed on himself, so he gets out pretty easy. The last standing, of course, merely gets to laugh and watch as the other two get their new ink.

View the results of the 2008 version of this above (as well as Part I of the webisode here).

Stop. Please.

Back in the summer of 2006, Jeff Madsen was on his way to becoming the best young mixed game tournament poker player in the world.

How times have changed.

Three years later, he’s basically a dude who, save two good scores at the beginning of 2009, doesn’t really cash much and otherwise spends the rest of his time partying, espousing stupid 9/11 conspiracy theories, and making raps with people like Layne Flack.

The above vid is his latest creation. Man, it’s really mean of him to mimic autistic people like this.
