We’re two weeks out from when news originally broke about PokerStars acquiring Full Tilt Poker. While no officially announcement has come from either PokerStars or Full Tilt regarding the progress of the deal...
Well this is interesting. While we can’t get any official word yet, we are hearing significant chatter among players and local Vegas gaming sources that the Palms casino may end up having to...
“They” started filming the new season of Poker2Nite yesterday (it airs Wednesday night at 11pm on Versus). The in-studio guest was WPT Celebrity Invitational final table-ist Trishelle Cannatella.
Crank up the audio because it’s pretty low, but before the interview, apparently Joe Sebok made some remark about Trishelle not being appropriately dressed. She then ripped his beard, the show, and then her mic. She later tweeted that Sebok was a “jerk face” (view here) before coming back on and finishing the segment.
Being short-stacked probably never felt so good for Gavin Smith.
463 of the starting 745 made it to Day 2 of the 2010 WPT LAPC Main Event. Gavin Smith ranks 462nd in chips.
However, he out-lasted Joe Sebok and 9/11 conspiracist/rapper Jeff Madsen in their last longer prop bet. So sometime in the next couple of weeks, Joe Sebok with get both Gavin and Madsen’s faces inked on his body, and Madsen will get Smith’s mug somewhere on his skin. More to come on this later.
The 745 entrants is among the largest WPT fields in recent memory (BJ…?) creating a first place prize of $1,788,001. Masaaki Kagawasounds like a really cool and sleek Japanese motorcycle is the Day 1 chip leader with 124,575. He’s followed by Mark Seif with 122,025.

Looks like poker players Joe Sebok and Gavin Smith, as well as and 9/11 conspiracist/rapper Jeff Madsen are back at making crazy prop bets. This time though, it’s revisiting an old theme.
Seebs, Gavin, and Madsen are making a LAPC Main Event last-longer prop bet where the losers have to get the other two people’s faces inked on their body.
Sooooo, Gavin, myself, and Jeff Madsen have all entered into a blood pact…quite literally…in the form of another last longer bet, and another tattoo consequence. This time a little scarier. Whoever is the fist person to bust at this year’s LAPC in Los Angeles will be forced to immediately get the other two fellow’s ugly mugs tattooed on his body…their damn faces (!)…right then…by an in house tattoo artist! The next to bust will only have to get the ultimate winner’s face tattooed on himself, so he gets out pretty easy. The last standing, of course, merely gets to laugh and watch as the other two get their new ink.

Poker2Nite premiered on FOX Sports on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
First thought…wow, that’s newsy. Very slick. Joe Sebok and Scott Huff are all suited up and shit. Second thought…nice to see Lacey Jones involved. Thirdly…more of segment host Dana Workman (un)dressed a little more seductively herehere and here.
Poker2Nite, a UB time-buy half-hour news show helmed by Joe Sebok and Scott Huff, will beginning airing on FOX Sports Wednesdays at 11pm.
From what we’ve seen of the show (i.e. the above clip, dug up by Pokerati), it’s got that Mike & Mike in the Morning feel, which will be something new for poker TV programming.
Definitely worth a watch on our end. Anyone else tuning in?
