Breeze Zuckerman With Last Woman Standing Cup (PHOTOS)

Breeze Zuckerman (above) discusses winning the Last Woman Standing Cup with ESPN after play wrapped on Day 5.

The Stanley Cup. The Sprint Cup. The World Cup. The Last Woman Standing CupTM.

In poker, there is one award that all women strive for…the only award that matters. And this year, it belongs to Breeze Zuckerman.

The Entities who Comprise Wicked Chops Poker conceived of The Cup at the inception of the WSOP back in 1970. However, it wasn’t until 1986 that we were able to award it for the first time (to Wendeen Eolis). Since then, the following women have all seen their names inscribed on The Cup:

Marsha Waggoner, Barbara Samuelson, Barbara Enright, Lucy Rokach, Marsha Waggoner, Susie Isaacs, Annie Duke*, Rose Richie, Tiffany “Crazy Bitch” Williamson, Sabyl Cohen-Landrum, Maria Ho, Tiffany Michelle, Leo Margets

Next year, when we present a women with The Cup hopefullyafterDay5, Breeze Zuckerman will have her name etched in with the above women as well.

* Two-time winner

2010 WSOP Main Event: Johnny Chan Still Among Chip Leaders Say What?!

Vanessa Rousso, a woman, saw her hopes of becoming the Last Woman Standing dashed during Day 3.

A total of 1,203 remain after Day 3 of the 2010 WSOP Main Event. That means we’re only math math math 456 from the money. That’s right, only 456 people to go before many realize their dreams. It’s a dream so close the remaining 1,203 can practically touch it, feel it. It’s within their grasp. The dream is still alive.

Just kidding about those last few sentences.

Anyway, at the end of Day 3 James Carroll is the chip leader, stacked at 803,000. He’s followed by the name we’d give to a sexy co-host of a morning drive-time R&B radio show, Imari Love, with 741,100.

Also among the big stacks is still, amazingly, Johnny Chan, with 636,000. After Day 1 we were like, “yeah, that can happen sometimes,” and after Day 2 we were like, “ah, that’s cute, good for him…” but now we’re thinking, “WTF is this? Johnny Chan? Same Johnny Chan that was in Rounders Johnny Chan? Double rainbow.”

Other notable big stacks remaining include Johnny Lodden (565,400), Eric Baldwin (499,600), Cole South (478,600), The Intense Stare of Scott Clements (459,900), Kido Pham (445,000), Steve Burkholder which is only significant because his hot gf might rail him (427,500), David Bach (410,500), Nick Rainey (408,100), and Dragan Galic (403,000).

Our favorite name of the 2010 WSOP, Fokke Beukers, is stacked at 463,800. Let’s just say we’d fokke buekers Rachel Nordtømme.

Also of note, all four Mizrachi brothers are still alive.

Finally and most importantly, still plenty of women alive for the Last Woman Standing CupTM. Among them include Shannon Shorr, a woman (401,500), Lauren Kling, a woman (361,600), Vanessa Selbst, a woman who likes women (331,500), Karina Jett, a woman (273,700), Khamsey Nuanmanee, a woman, (254,200), Erica Schoenberg, a woman (127,700), Annie Duke, a woman (113,800), Evelyn Ng, a woman (70,000), and Kathy Liebert, a woman (43,000).

2010 WSOP Main Event Day 2B: Last Woman Standing Cup Update

While we're not sure yet if Paola Martin made it through to Day 3 yet, we're pretty sure she wouldn't have a Tilt deal had we not put up copious photo dumps of her last year.

Day 2B of the 2010 WSOP Main Event concluded. Sunday is an off-day. The field finally merges on Monday for Day 3, and we’ll post the official total of how many remain when it’s released.

(160,000), Bruce Buffer (160,000), and Allen Cunningham (156,000).

In hunt for the Last Woman Standing CupTM are Vanessa Selbst, a woman who likes women (265,000), J.J. Liu, a woman (240,000), Khamsy Nuanmanee, a woman (222,000), Karina Jett, a woman (175,000), Vanessa Rousso, a woman (140,000), Lisa Parsons, a woman (48,000), Barbara Enright, a woman (41,000), Erica Schoenberg, a woman (40,000), Kara Scott, a woman (40,000), and Jennifer Harman, a woman (35,000).

Not sure if the hottie in the above pic, Paola Martin (now with a Full Tilt deal?), made it to Day 3 like she did last year, so just in case we won’t have more pics of her, view the one’s from the 2009 Main Event here.

Last Woman Standing Cup(TM) Update

Time to start thinking about the Last Woman Standing Cup...can Leo repeat?

Time to start thinking about the Last Woman Standing Cup...can Leo repeat?

We’re probably a day or so away from awarding the Last Woman Standing CupTM to some lucky lady who outlasts the field of fellow females.

Truly the highest honor in the game for any woman, Day 2A of the 2010 WSOP Main Event is stocked with chicks with chips.

Some remaining include but are certainly not limited to Lauren Kling, a woman (148,000), Amanda Baker, a woman (133,000), Shannon Shorr, a woman (133,000), Jennifer Leigh, a woman (125,000), Annie Duke, a woman (96,000), Sandra Naujoks, a woman (80,000), Lacey Jones, a woman (73,500), Tiffany Michelle, a woman (68,000), Evy Ng, a woman (65,000),
Svetlana “Glum Girl” Gromenkova, a woman (49,500), and last year’s winner, Leo Margets, a woman (40,000).

Plenty more after that as well as tomorrow, so we’ll follow the action down and get ready to award the cup sometime in the next day or two when all of the women have been eliminated.

In related news, Dragan Galic is the current chip leader with around 300,000. Plenty of big names are doing well. Get full chip counts here.

In further related news, possibly the best day for Girls on the Rail in the history of the WSOP. We even have A New Ass Girl. Check back later tonight for a photo dump. In the meantime, check out our 2010 WSOP Girls on the Rail gallery here.
