2010 WSOP Main Event Day 2B: Last Woman Standing Cup Update

While we're not sure yet if Paola Martin made it through to Day 3 yet, we're pretty sure she wouldn't have a Tilt deal had we not put up copious photo dumps of her last year.

Day 2B of the 2010 WSOP Main Event concluded. Sunday is an off-day. The field finally merges on Monday for Day 3, and we’ll post the official total of how many remain when it’s released.

As noted earlier, David Assouline ended the day as big stack, with 387,800. Some big named big stacks also remaining include but are certainly not limited to Jon Van Fleet (295,600), Archie Karas (240,000), Aaron Kantor (222,000), Dan Bilzerian (210,000), Phil ‘OMGClayAiken’ Galfond (203,000), Jason Mercier (186,300), Amit Makhija (185,700), David Benyamine (173,000), Robert Varkonyi(!) (160,000), Bruce Buffer (160,000), and Allen Cunningham (156,000).

In hunt for the Last Woman Standing CupTM are Vanessa Selbst, a woman who likes women (265,000), J.J. Liu, a woman (240,000), Khamsy Nuanmanee, a woman (222,000), Karina Jett, a woman (175,000), Vanessa Rousso, a woman (140,000), Lisa Parsons, a woman (48,000), Barbara Enright, a woman (41,000), Erica Schoenberg, a woman (40,000), Kara Scott, a woman (40,000), and Jennifer Harman, a woman (35,000).

Not sure if the hottie in the above pic, Paola Martin (now with a Full Tilt deal?), made it to Day 3 like she did last year, so just in case we won’t have more pics of her, view the one’s from the 2009 Main Event here.

2009 WSOP Main Event Day 2′s Air on ESPN

The “real” 2009 WSOP Main Event begins tonight as ESPN airs the Day 2′s. For the record, we’ll say the same thing next week when they are the bubble bursting and players getting to the money.

The big featured table tonight will be Jason Alexander and Greg Raymer (video preview above). Probably not featured but should be is the fantastically attractive Paola Martin (here).

Other Day 2 goodness worth remembering:
Jason Alexander, Brad Garrett, Gavin Smith Rate Girls on the Rail
Jason Calacanis and David Sacks on Their Last Longer Bet
Brad Garrett’s Girlfriend Is A Role Model
It’s Not Easy Being Scotty

2009 WSOP Main Event Ready to Air

Paola Martin could significantly pretty up the 2009 WSOP Day 1A and 1B broadcasts on ESPN.

Paola Martin could significantly pretty up the 2009 WSOP Day 1A and 1B broadcasts on ESPN.

The 2009 WSOP Main Event airs tonight on ESPN with Days 1A & 1B.

Unfortunately, tonight will likely be the two least compelling episodes of the Main Event. Days 1A and 1B had the smallest fields and were lightest on the big names.

Day 1A saw a field of 1,116 with a featured table included Allen Cunningham, Eli Elezra, and Lex Veldhuis. Jason Alexander will probably garner attention too, as he made it to Day 2A as one of the big stacks (and was consequently feature tabled). Day 1A also brought us Paola Martin (above, more here), a genuine poker hottie who may or may not receive airtime.

Day 1B, which took place on July 4th, was the smallest field of the ME with 873. Doyle Brunson was feature tabled on this one. While Day 1B kind of sucked, it did bring us Girl on the Rail HOF candidate “Angel Girl” (view here).

Next week should pick up, and it’ll be interesting to see if they do anything about players being shut out on Day 1D.

Dee Dozier and Paola Martin Bring You Our Top Referrers

How can you just not want to hand your chips over to sweet Dee Dozier? So effing cute. How can you just not hand over your chips to sweet Dee Dozier? So effing cute.

How can you just not want to hand your chips over to sweet Dee Dozier? So effing cute.

It’s been a big week of hits for us, one of our biggest ever, thanks to Brad Garrett‘s girlfriend Isabella going braless, Phil Hellmuth once again being ridiculous, Cecilia Nordenstam looking average and hot Girls on the Rail, among other things.

Big thanks to all those who linked in, especially our top referrers below. To those sites and forums that steal our pics — the ones our photogs painstakingly take day after day and we pay them with occasional pats on the backs obscene amounts of money for — we just want to say fuck you. You suck at life.

Okay, our top 10 referrers so far this July. Give ‘em some love and check ‘em out.

Photos below of Dee Dozier and Paola Martin, who are both prettying up the field on Day 3 and gunning for the title of Last Woman StandingTM at the 2009 WSOP Main Event. Both were in at the last break with Dee currently stacked around 135k. If there’s a God, and He has a Penis, these two girls will be around for awhile. Look for our Toke video with Dee shortly.

Paola Martin Made It to Day 3

Hey, we're happy to see you again too.

Hey, we're happy to see you again too.

A little late getting to this (not to throw anyone under the bus, but it was our photogs fault, all his, 100%, he’s to blame), but Paola Martin made it to Day 3 of the 2009 WSOP Main Event.

We were concerned. Martin was nursing a short-stack for awhile and we thought she was knocked out. Then we found her towards the end of play as she doubled up. Then our photog waited about 17 hours to send us the pictures.

Martin ended Day 2A stacked at 64,200. Fairly good chance there will be more pics of her taken tomorrow, which means we should probably have them up by July 21st or so.

In related news, Day 2B is going on and people have chips and are getting knocked out and cards flying and action fast and furiousTM etc. etc. here.
