Scotty Being Scotty on His Way to The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fight

Watch Scotty Being Scotty On His Way To The Mayweather Vs. Marquez Fight on RawVegas.tv

A kind of impromptu new Scotty Being Scotty shot on iPhone, here’s the Prince of Poker on his way to the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight this past weekend.

Sounds like he didn’t fare too well on his football picks, but if he bet on Mayweather winning, he at least made up some cash there.

Scotty Being Scotty: The Expekt Commercial Shoot

Watch Scotty Being Scotty: Filming the Expekt Commercial on RawVegas.tv

If you’ve watched any previous webisode of Scotty Being Scotty, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that he’s got a sick backyard and pool.

So it was only natural to use that backyard and fill it with some smoking hot models for Day 1 of his Expekt.com commercial. If you live in Sweden, Hungary, and other European country with an abundant supply of ridiculously attractive girls with morally casual attitudes, you’ve probably seen one of the commercials by now (although not with the above footage).

Working on using some pics of the models as our Friday Night Parting Shot this week…

2009 Poker Hall of Fame nominee Daniel Negreanu along with 2009 Girls on the Rail Hall of Fame nominee Brittany Bowman

Time to stoke up the whole “Is Phil Ivey to young to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame?” debate once more.

The Poker Hall of Fame has narrowed its list of nominees for the 2009 Class down to nine players. They are (age in parentheses):

BARRY GREENSTEIN (54)
DAN HARRINGTON (63)
PHIL IVEY (33)
TOM McEVOY (64)
MEN NGUYEN (55)
SCOTTY NGUYEN (46)
DANIEL NEGREANU (35)
ERIK SEIDEL (49)
MIKE SEXTON (61)

Absent from the list is 23-year-old Tom Dwan, who the Poker Hall of Fame Governing Council remarked:

“With all due respect to Mr. Dwan, one of the games most exciting young players, he does not currently meet the criteria for Hall of Fame selection. We wish him well and expect he will again be considered once he has ‘stood the test of time.’”

The 15 living Hall of Fame members and a 15-member Media Panel have until October 2 to cast their votes. An induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Rio during the dinner break of the 2009 WSOP Main Event Final Table.

Check out the criteria for the Poker Hall of Fame here. List who you’d vote for and why in the comments below.

For who Daniel Negreanu thinks should be inducted, go here.

Scotty Being Scotty: Off to WSOPE and BAC

Watch Scotty Nguyen on WSOP Europe and Hungary Visit on RawVegas.tv

The poker world goes on its European SwingTM this month, and Scotty Nguyen is doing an extended trip. First he’ll be at the EPT Barcelona (starts Friday, September 4th) and then next week he’s off to the huge Budapest Affiliate Conference (BAC). Lots of parties to attend there, which if you’re around we’d highly recommend you hit at least a few, since we all know Euro girls have awesomely morally casual attitudes. Party with Euro girls is even better than shooting fish in a barrel. It’s like the fish actually grabbing the gun with their fins and pointing it at themselves.

Europeans rule.

Except for the French.

Although that Shosanna chick in Inglourious Basterds was pretty cool. And since that was a true story, we can’t believe we never heard of her until a few weeks ago, being the history buffs we are and all. Good to know that even at our age, we can still learn new things.

Scotty Being Scotty – It’s Not Easy Being Scotty

Watch Scotty Nguyen Bombarded By Fans While On Break on RawVegas.tv

For some reason this is probably our favorite webisode of Scotty Being Scotty to date.

Scotty Nguyen has always been accommodating to his fans, and has been especially accommodating since the $50k H.O.R.S.E. incident last year. This gives a pretty good glimpse of what it’s like to be Scotty (or Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, and Doyle Brunson) during the WSOP Main Event.
