Two of these people may make the WPT Legends of Poker...
Day 3 wrapped at the
WPT Legends of Poker with two
November NineTM hostages among the big stacks.
Davidson Matthew Club member Todd Terry ended play as chip leader, stacked at 850,000. He’s followed by N9′er s Kevin Schaffel (728,000) and Steven Begleiter (617,000). Chalk up a victory for the anonymous middle-aged upper-class white guy. About time our group caught a break. Yes we can!
The 24 remaining will come back today and play down to the final table. Notables remaining include James Mackey, a ginger (608,000), Toto Leonidas (456,000), Prahlad Friedman (451,000), Eric Hershler (180,000), and Carter King (119,000). No one else remaining is notable.

We like seeing more of Prahlad Friedman (above right foreground from 2009 WSOP Main Event) on the tournament circuit, and we definitely like seeing more of his cute A wife as well.
With 74 remaining, November NineTM hostage Steven Begleiter continues to steamroll the WPT Legends of Poker, ending Day 2 as the chip leader, stacked at 426,100.
He’s followed by a near-miss November Niner, Prahlad Friedman, with 382,700. Good to see Friedman showing his face more on the circuit, or at least showing the part of his face not covered by his hoodie.
Other notable big stacks include Bryan Devonshire (230,200), James Mackey, a ginger (212,500), Billy Baxter (209,300), Toto Leonidas (195,300), November Niner Kevin Schaffel (152,000), and Daniel Negreanu (92,000).

The spectacularly-breasted J.C. Tran is among the many who bailed on playing the WPT Legends of Poker this year.
Maybe it’s because of more tournament options overseas, or maybe it’s The EconomyTM, or maybe…it’s both…but there’s a pretty big drop in the field size at the WPT Legends of Poker this year. The 279 field size is down by almost a hundred from last year’s 373. Among those events likely siphoning off players are the EPT Kyiv (follow final table here), and the APT Macau, where WPT regular the spectacularly-breasted J.C. Tran (above) finished third (results here).
Anyway, around 185 made it to Day 2 of Legends. November NinerTM Steven Begleiter took a commanding chip lead, finishing Day 1 stacked at 235,000.
Begleiter is followed by Toto Leonidas (93,000) and Bryan Devonshire (87,000).
Fellow November Niner Joe Cada didn’t do as well as Begleiter, hitting the rail early in play.

Darvin Moon, a ginger, is helping make this one of the least interesting potential final tables ever.
Wow.
On break with 15 remaining, this is shaping up to the worst final table in WSOP Main Event history. Even worse than the turdbomb that was 2007.
Phil Ivey is now among the short-stacks, just under 7M. Even Jeff Shulman, who if nothing else would generate interest due to his throwing-the-bracelet-in-the-trash stance, is now 10th and is not necessarily a lock. Steven Begleiter is now the chip leader with 27,890,000. He’s followed by Darvin Moon with 24,600,000.
So, Begleiter + Moon + Buchman + Cada < > = Yang + Lam + Rahme + Childs?
