Big news today as Caesars Entertainment (CZR: Nasdaq) IPO’d. The stocked opened trading on Wednesday at $9 per share and closed up 71% at closing price of $15.39. Good news for some for...
In a recent interview with Gaming Intelligence, Laurent Tapie said that he hopes to have a re-branded Full Tilt Poker launched by March 1. Ok then. There’s a better chance of Layne Flack repaying his debt...
Whoever made the Lionel Richie Hello poster, you are brilliant.
We go half and half on the latest Wicked Chops Podcast.
In Part I, Jess Welman joins us to review the week’s big poker headlines, including:
:: The PokerStars-Wynn merger (and why it just may be the single biggest story in our industry since the UIGEA).
:: Which online operators are bankrolled enough to get in on the brick & mortar merger trend (and what some other potential partnerships may be).
:: Tournament Turf WarsTM
:: Gus Hansen‘s hot new (rumored) girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki.
In Part II, Trishelle Cannatella and Slim join us to talk this past week’s American Idol where we discuss, among other things, if Stefano Langone has ever heard of the Internet, because if he had, then he would’ve known about the above photo, which may be one of the funniest things we’ve seen in 2011.
Might be our favorite podcast of the year. Listen below or download on iTunes.
The latest ep of This Week in Poker is now online. Watch it above, or on YouTube here, or download/subscribe on iTunes.
Another packed show this week including an interview with WSOP VP Ty Stewart about the latest WSOP news plus he shares his thoughts on the new Poker Hall of Fame inductees and WSOP-Europe bracelet debate. Also joining us via skype live from the Festa al Lago was the WPT’s Matt Savage and Jess Welman with the Poker Headlines. Poker pro Matt Affleck, who just made a deep run at Festa al Lago and is getting serious ESPN face time right now, also skyped in to talk about playing online in Washington State and his now famous 15th place bust out in the Main Event this year.
And, prettying up our Santa Monica studio was our favorite poker playing reality show star Trishelle Cannatella, who answered a ton of viewer questions before taking on our Poker Metaphors Signifying You Have to Act Quickly Round.
Show notes/time-stamps to come.

While we were sleeping like drunk babies, the crew from ESPN’sInside Dealmanaged to stay awake through the night and into the wee hours of Sunday morning to eventually shoot the above episode discussing the 2010 WSOP Main Event November NineTM.
Click play above to hear what Laura Lane, Bernard Lee and Andrew Feldman had to say, and be sure to tune in to This Week In Poker today at 4pm PST/7om EST (here) as the aforementioned Andrew Feldman joins us, along with Joe Sebok, to talk about the November Nine and this year’s WSOP.
In completely unrelated news, photos of Trishelle Cannatella on the rail during Day 8 of the 2010 WSOP Main Event below.
Trishelle Cannatella came oh so close to busting out today.
Much like the way she broke down barriers for women everywhere who wanted to have casual sex on reality TV shows with guys they barely know, Trishelle Cannatella is here at the 2010 WSOP Main Eventsetting an example for the way women should dress at the poker table.
For most of the day, even with sub freezing temps inside the Rio, Trishelle bravely wore barely a hint of fabric, only occasionally donning a thin “sweater” of sorts.
It’s like she’s some sort of modern day Joan of Arc, except instead of leading the resistance to the English invasion of France in the Hundred Years War, Trishelle is leading the resistance to wearing a lot of clothing at the poker table so that her boobs practically hang out. Both accomplishments are equally important in the grand scheme of things, mind you.
Photos below of Trishelle Cannatella, who managed to make it on to Day 2 of the 2010 WSOP Main Event with about 10k in chips.
Still a week away from the final table of the WPT Celebrity Invitational, so in the so-called “interim,” here’s footage from the red carpet this past Saturday night (including an interview with final six’er Trishelle Cannatella).
Of note, and especially since American Idol‘s top 24 semi-finals starts tonight, look for the interview with William Hung (around 3:00 mins in). Not to make any sort of stereotypes, but we’re pretty sure the South Park guys based the owner of City Wok after him.
In related news, do you think girls fuck William Hung? Mini-Me still pulls tail, what’s the +/- on she bangs with Hung a year?
