We’re two weeks out from when news originally broke about PokerStars acquiring Full Tilt Poker. While no officially announcement has come from either PokerStars or Full Tilt regarding the progress of the deal...
Well this is interesting. While we can’t get any official word yet, we are hearing significant chatter among players and local Vegas gaming sources that the Palms casino may end up having to...
Damn do we need to get off the schnide and feature Victoria Moore more.
It’s been awhile since we had a Friday Night Parting Shot Girl so let’s go ahead and fix that with new photos of our Official Wicked Chops Poker Girl Victoria Moore. It’s actually criminal we haven’t featured her more ever since naming her our new OWCPG (blame this guy). Definitely expect a lot lot more of Victoria Moore in the new year.
Until then be sure to pick up Victoria’s ridiculously hot 2011 Calendar online here. Also bid on a signed photo from her (see Santa hat one below) on eBay here. Consider it an investment in Victoria doing more ridiculously hot photos like the ones above/below and videos like this.
Finally, be sure to “Like” Victoria on Facebook and check out here new feature in Fighters Only magazine.
The latest ep of This Week in Poker is now online. Watch it above, or on YouTube here, or download/subscribe on iTunes.
Must see show yesterday with lots and lots of ground covered plus our new Official Wicked Chops Poker Girl Victoria Moore skyped in from London.
Joining us in the studio was Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman who talked about everything from his final table appearance at the WSOP Europe Main Event and the recent Andrew Robl vs. Tony G. and Daniel Negreanu drama to patching November Niners, the growth of Victory Poker this year, the Washington State shut out and online poker legislation.
We also talked with November Niner John Racener via skype to hear what he’s been doing to prep for the WSOP Main Event final table, the song he picked to come out to and why he’s ready to be poker’s next ambassador.
Finally, joining us via skype was longtime FOWCP Phil Gordon, who’s one of the finalist in Full Tilt’s Double Poker Championship and just placed 25th in the World Bridge Championship. Phil talks about the unique format of the new poker TV show plus dishes on the feud between Full Tilt and PokerStars, the value of WSOP Europe bracelets and who he’s picking to win the Main Event.
All that plus Jess Welman delivers the Poker Headlines for the week including a recap of the WPT Fest al Lago and WSOP-Circuit event in Hammond, IN.
12:05- 25:23 - Our interview with Victory Poker CEO and WSOP-Europe Main Event final tablist Dan Fleyshman.
25:24- 32:29 – The ridiculously hot British model Victoria Moore joins us from London. No idea what we talked about (vaguely recall something about her pillows) but you should buy her calendar here.
32:30 – 36:57 – Back to Dan Fleyshman, this time talking about online poker legislation.
36:58- 43:56 – Our interview with November Niner John Racener.
43:57 – 47:48 – Back to Dan Fleyshman again, this time about patching up the November Niners.
1:01:04 – We wrap up with Dan in the studio including a Poker Metaphors Signifying You Have to Act Quickly Round.
Thanks to all who thanked Full Tilt’s Doubles Poker Championship and PokerVT via Twitter for sponsoring This Week In Poker. If you haven’t done so yet, please do by tweeting:
“Thank you @FullTilt_WSOP Doubles Poker on @GSN for supporting @twi_poker #twipkr”
“Thank you @Poker_VT for supporting @twi_poker #twipkr”
Well, a lot of the interest in the 2010 WSOP Europe Main Event was sucked out when Phil Ivey and Viktor ‘isildur1′ Blom (and Greg Mueller and Hoyt Corkins) were sent to the rail.
Instead, we’re left with a final table led, surprisingly, by Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman, who is stacked at 1,946,000. Hey Dan, can you work on getting a Victoria Moore (above) appearance at the final table? Dan. Daaaaaan. Make it happen Dan.
Fleyshman is followed by Ronald Lee with 1,899,000.
Roland de Wolfe enters final table play fourth overall with 1,377,000. Friend of durrrr, Brian Powell, has 842,000 and Day 1 chip leader Nicolas Levi comes in as one of the short-stacks with 428,000.
If Victoria Moore played fantasy football, she'd probably play Fantazzle SuperStakes Sunday. Just sayin'...
If you watched This Week in Poker a couple of eps ago, you know we’re pretty big fantasy football junkies.
So starting this Sunday the 26th, our old friend at Fantazzle will be having kind of like the equivalent of the PokerStars Sunday Millions–but for fantasy–and not quite for millions (yet). Here are the details (get them here too):
$200 entry fee–starting week 3 (this week) there’s a guaranteed $5,000 prize pool. You can also satellite into the league for as little as $10.
While remaining under a cap of $1M, you pick 2QBs/3RBs/3WRs/2TEs who you think will score the most fantasy points.
You choose your line-up weekly–so you’re looking for match-ups.
There’s a 100% payout in the league (i.e. no juice).
There’s also a deposit bonus from 10% to 25%. Aaaand this weekend you can do redeposits and get the same bonus deal on the redeposits as you do on the first deposit.
Pretty sweet deal, especially the $5k guarantee. To learn more, go to Fantazzle here.
Only way this could have been better is if Cake was the Baby Oil Network instead.
Victory Poker officially made its move over to the Cake Network recently, but more importantly, they celebrated it by having our new Official Wicked Chops Poker Girl Victoria Moore, WCP fave Sara Underwood and two other girls get half naked and have a cake fight.
Genius.
No idea, by the way, if these girls are driving players over to Victory Poker but let’s hope they are so that Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman keeps shelling out the cash for shoots like the above. Actually, go dump a buy-in or two there right now to ensure he does.
