Tony Gregg Wins WPT Parx Open Poker Classic

We still got it.

We can still nail easy predictions.

To borrow a phrase from UGA coach Mark Richt when he was still worth a crap, Tony Gregg ”finished the drill,” winning the WPT Parx Open Poker Classic.

For the win, Gregg banks $416,127, pushing his career earnings to around $2.8M. Gregg defeated Stephen Reynolds ($244,877) heads-up for the title. Andre “The Knife” Nyffeler* finished sixth for $61,619.

After the win, none other than poker player/part-time swimmer Michael Phelps tweeted at Gregg:

@MichaelPhelpsNice work @wwwBTHEREcom !!

We can only take this to mean that Tony Gregg enjoys himself some pot, and perhaps has puff puff given some to Phelps in the past.

Get full results and recaps here.

* Andre needs to run with that nickname.
